Great friends… great time!

Glad I was able to be a part of it. 

‘Tis the season for 1st Communions, Proms, Graduations, weddings… I love it!

Just a couple of photos from two recent photos sessions…both taking their first Holy Communion! God Bless you both! 

Another family member who has been waiting quite a while (thanks Kell &  Aimee for your patience) is Kellee, whose senior photos I took last fall.  She made it onto my website and my letterhead!  I can’t believe my first niece is graduating next month!  Where did the time go…?  Congrats Kellee and Good Luck at Olivet Nazarene!! Love you!

One of the great things about being “the” photographer in the family is I have the honors of capturing all of our family milestones.  One of the problems is my family has to wait to get their pictures back until after my other projects.  This photo session of my nephews, Logan and Liam, was done in Februrary when Liam was 9 months old! He is almost 11 months old now!  Almost time to take the One Year Pictures!!

I was honored to be the official photographer of the 2009 Miss Chicago Scholarship Pageant.  What an exciting event!  Congratulations to all of the inspiring young woman who participated!  You are all great representatives of our fine city.  Congratulations to Imani Josey, Miss Chicago 2009!!  Best of luck to you as you continue the path to Miss Illinois!

Woke up this morning to 6 inches of the white stuff. Heavy snow on all the trees…just beautiful! Made us want to stay in bed until Tuesday…when it will all be melted!

Happy Birthday to one of the sweetest little one year olds I’ve had the opportunity to photograph.  What a smile!  Pretty in pink!  Have a great day…enjoy your birthday cake!

I am so excited to have my website officially up and running!  We still have a few things to tweak, but at least I have a place to share my work!  Thank you Stacy for all your hard work and patience with me.  I love the final results!!  I will use this blog to highlight recent shoots and share my joys of kicking off a “new” business!
